Now that you have pitched your two ideas you need to focus on one of those ideas.
Pre-production is a time to get your idea into something tangible and working out all the issues, similar to the role of a producer. You have to ensure that your production will go as smoothly as possible.
Pre-production also is a time for creativity where you are able to tweak and change your idea to make get the best possible product out of your ideas.
You need to be pro-active and take the lead now - it is the work you put in now which will determine the quality of your music video.
You should include a summary of the feedback you got for your music video and stating how
You need to create the following materials for your pre-production:
a) dates and time scales, including product launch date
b) resources and equipment
c) personnel and activities
d) budget
e) relevant legal and ethical issues

a) This should be a day-to-day planning of your production and editing schedule. You should also plan on how and where you are going to release this music video. Also research and discover which film festival you want to enter it in. These forms should help with your planning:
- Large calendar filming planner
- Release schedule
- Contingency Plan
b) Detail what equipment you will need for this equipment as well as any locations you will need. These forms should help with your planning:
- Location recce
- Location planner
- Equipment planner
c) What roles you will be taking on, as well as linking to the days in which you will need help from your peers and what they will be doing. As well as back up plans, if they are unable to help on your shoot as agreed. These forms should help with your planning:
- Personnel planner
d) This should include totalling up the costs of the equipment needed as well as cost of additional help. You should also find out costs for travel, props and additional material.
- Budget planner
e) Copyright, slander/libel, upsetting/offensive material, bias, performance rights.
- Talent release form
- Legal and ethical

Sample Material Revision
Using your feedback you must revise or add to your sample material. For Example change storyboard and add audio, camera/character movements or create a set design or costume design etc. You need to have a paragraph before your revised pre production work like the paragraph below
1. Revise Storyboard & Add another Page
Include Camera movement, Character movement, Props/Costumes and Edit effects (Transitions etc) Also create another page of storyboard.
2. Create a shot list - Use this
Create a shot list for a specific scene in your music video, include effects, transitions etc
